Egg Replacer using Chia Seeds or Flaxseeds

If you don't eat eggs, here's a couple of alternatives that work great in baking!

Chia Egg or Flax Egg (equivalent to 1 egg):

  • 1 Tbsp ground chia or ground flaxseeds
  • 3 Tbsp warm water

Method: 

In a small bowl, whisk the warm water into the ground flax. Allow the mixture to sit for about 10 - 15 minutes or until it becomes gelatinous. 

They both work, so the choice is yours!
