Flax Balls (vegan, paleo, no-bake)
This indulgence is jam packed with nutrients! With a decadent chocolate fudge texture on the inside, and a maple flax crunch on the outside, boosting your brain power never tasted so good.
(Makes Approx. 48 Pieces)
- ½ cup whole pitted dates
- ½ cup pure cocoa powder
- ½ cup whole natural almonds
- ½ cup almond butter
- ½ cup pure maple syrup
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 1 cup (approx.) of Omega Crunch Roasted Maple Shelled Flax
Put dates in the food processor and pulse until they begin to breakdown. Add in the cocoa powder and the whole almonds. Pulse until the almonds are in small pieces and the dates begin to take on a smooth mixture. Add the almond butter, the maple syrup, and the sea salt. Pulse until the mixture is well blended. Sprinkle maple flax on a baking sheet. Spoon ½ Tbsp of mixture onto the baking sheet and roll in the flax seeds to form a ball. Store in freezer. Serve frozen.
