Morning Muesli (dairy free & *gluten free option)
Rise and shine to a ready-made breakfast for the whole family! Fill each glass with these simple ingredients the night before and wake up to a tasty start to your day.
(Ingredients For 1 Serving - 8oz Glass)
- ½ cup oats (*buy gluten free oats to ensure no cross contamination)
- 1 Tbsp Omega Crunch Roasted Maple Shelled Flax
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
- 2 Tbsp raisins
- 1 Tbsp chopped almonds (approx. 7 almonds)
- 1 Tbsp xylitol or 1 packet stevia
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (enough to cover the dry ingredients plus about 1 inch.)
Method:
The night before - Put all dry ingredients into each glass and gently stir to mix the ingredients. Add the almond milk (or other milk or milk alternative of your choice). The milk should cover the ingredients plus approx. 1 inch. Cover each glass with plastic wrap and set inside the refrigerator overnight. In the morning the ingredients will be soft, the flavors will be mixed and your muesli will be ready to eat!
