Omega Avocado Banana Ice Cream 

Who likes avocados?

What do avocados and bananas have in common? They are both a climacteric fruit – which means they mature on trees, but ripen off the tree.

Omega Avocado Banana Ice Cream (serves 2)
- 1 ripe avocado
- ½ ripe medium banana
- 1 Tbsp whole natural almonds
- 1 tsp honey
- 1g (1 packet) stevia
- *top with Omega Crunch Roasted Maple Shelled Flax

Method:

In a food processor or blender pulse the avocado, banana and almonds until the fruit is smooth and the nut are chopped. Add honey and stevia and pulse until well blended. Spoon the mixture into a freezer safe bowl and freeze for approx. 1 hour. Take out the mixture and spoon it back into the food processor or blender. Blend until it is smooth. Serve immediately and top with Omega Crunch roasted maple shelled flax for added nutrients, crunch and flavor!
