Spicy Sweet Potato Fries

Spicy Sweet Potato Fries

(2 Servings)

Flee the winter chill with this spicy twist on an old favorite. One bite will tell you these are not your average fries, but they could become your new fave!

- Half of one large sweet potato
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp Omega Crunch Roasted Garlic Shelled Flax
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Sea salt to taste

Method:

Preheat oven to 400F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Peel the sweet potato and cut into lengthwise strips – just like French fries. In a large bowl add the oil, shelled flax, paprika, cumin, onion powder and sea salt. Stir until well blended. Add the sweet potato fries and toss in the mixture until all the fries are well coated. Place your fries on the lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Flip your fries and return to the oven on broil for 2-3 minutes or until your fries are slightly crispy.
